800 series Taylorcraft and Harpoon

I built some older Guillows kits I got of E-Bay. They included sales brochures showing a stage 3 series to build by numbers. The stage 3 was to include a 30-inch Taylorcraft and a 34-inch model called the Harpoon. These two kits were too be introduced in the fall of 1967. I have never seen these kits for sell. Nor have I have seen the plans for these models available. My question is what happened? Were they introduced and dropped or never introduced at all? If not, then WHY?

That sounds like a natural progression, Javelin, Lancer, Arrow, Harpoon. I have some 1950s sales material that shows an F3D to go along with the MIG 15 but that doesn't seem to have been released either. Why ask why?
