Okay so, I decided I needed to try this rubber powered thing...

I'll do the cub first... Post pics here... The other two I'll post the builds at VA.Com... I'll start the cub in the morning as I begin the F7F... It's an airplane factory!

I'm in on the P-40... Matter of fact, the Office Max kidlets are printing the plan for me, as I type this...
I'll do the Piper, then the F7F, then both the Brit planes, then the P-40. and we'll probably match schedules exactly...
and so... let me get some pics of the piper...

Building this Fuse is as much fun as the night the old sow ate my little brother... I cannot wait to blow up this plan, and put a screw or two in this plane. Parts are so small on this thing, that my fangers are sore, and my eyes are red...
Eric: I just picked up my P-40 plan (printed) and it's really much higher quality than I can achieve at home. OFFICE MAX in Katy, Texas Rocks! Only 11 bucks with tax , title, license, and dealer prep...

So far I have 14 guillow builds, the best flyer so far is the Hawker Typhoon, kit #906. I added 5 grams of weight to the nose and it flies like a dream. Get about a good 30 seconds of flight on 300 winds of the provided motor and it lands ever so softly. Flies in big left hand circles and then when the power drops off it flies straight. I was very surprised by its performance.

Okay:
No Paint.
Stock balsa and tissue (two colors, gray and white)
SIG Butyrate Dope, two coats on the balsa one coat on the paper...
Sharpie Laundry Marker for black stuff...
Prop is from a 1000 series Stuka kit circa 1975...
Wound her up 200 times and launched in the backyard. Climb to a 30 foot tall loop, then circled for a 33 second flight. Landed and flipped over in the grass, no damage... I think I'll hang it on the ceiling...
