Question about P-40 (gillows 501) Wing Fairing...

Ask other modelers for a little help / knowledge ?

You know, I've no idea. :shock:
I'll bring it in to work and weigh it before I trim it for flight. Give me a couple of days. :oops:
The paint is only one coat of watered down OD green / White.
Hopefully weight will be within reason.

OK, I've finished building and painting it. The hardest part of this P-40 was the wing fairing, as I have never had to do that before. :shock:

Anyway, to answer your question about weight, it weighs 41.9 grams. Not too bad except that I haven;t balanced it out yet. I will probably have to add 8-10 grams to the nose.

It isn't perfect, but I will probably trim it up, balance, and throw it around when the weather calms down.

The P-38 is arguably the best... Forget that, it is THE BEST fighter of world war two, and is epically AWESOME!
