Hey Mitch,

Congratulations on the plaque! Third place in your first FAC contest is awesome. Not an easy feat at all. Looking forward to some pics.

Hey All... just got home last night and was exhausted...up this AM. with my coffee and new energy...

Spent a week at my Dad's house in Phoenix after WESTFAC, after a day of repairs to the 109 my Dad took this pic. This plane will fly again, but I will soon start on a new and improved G model, starting with the Guillows fuselage...

A few pics from the event...The fisrt contest was WW1 combat (mass launch), and no monoplanes allowed. I did not enter this event but there was one Guillow model entered:

The last round was for 3 planes...

Bristol Scout, Fokker DVII, and an SE5a (this SE5a was about a 1/3 larger than mine and HALF the weight!

...and off they go...

The Bristol Scout won... That was Don's plane and he is the guy that helped me adjust my 109 the night before WW2 Med, and he also lost his P-47 on that event...

I have more pics and will post some more latter...
