I see you made a detached elevator on the model above. Is that typically done only for RC? If for rubber FF, what do you use to make the control surface adjustable? I'd like to do that on my next model. I don't think I'm at gas power or RC level yet (someday!)

This guy: http://www.ffscale.co.uk/ uses thin wire to attach the elevator/rudder, the kind that is used to seal a disposable plastic sandwich bag.
You probably don't want the entire elevator to be movable, only a small trimmer at the end.

Yeah, That's Mike's free flight model page. He builds such a wide variety of airplanes, and they all look so good. I think they have a lot of different model airplane kits available in the UK. That we don't have over here.
