Electric powered free flight

IMHO the direct drive motors don't seem to put out enough thrust. I happened to have a old motor gear box unit that came out of the Horizon Hobby Champ. The unit is built really well and can take some punishment. Also even though the model is not trimmed in it seems to have plenty of power.
