Guillow's kit#405 Curtiss P-40N

Looks GREAT. Though I was the only one that had problems with the decals.

nope - and so far every Guillow kit has this 'feature'...it's their only drawback really now that the kits are all (or mostly all) laser cut.

sure wish they would address it - or reduce the cost and omit these decals all together.

It’s a good kit especially now with the laser cut parts but the canopy is a bit tricky to get fitted properly..
and as I have noted the decals aren’t great.
Quick note : I have started a youtube channel today as ‘Heywood Planes’
My fist two videos are up - just an introductory vid and a brief look at some tools etc..
As soon as I have a clamp for my camera I’ll start posting build videos.
It’s just for fun.. and because I have the time to do it. Anyway check it out if you’re inclined, and let me know what you think.

It’s the first model I’ve ever finished that I had left half built for so long.
Getting it done after such a break, rather than wasting the effort entirely, feels like a win.
I appreciate your encouragement.
