I miss Hobby Shops

Hi all,
I worked at Bobbye Hall's Hobby House in Dallas '85-'97. We stocked trains, plastics, and all SIG balsa, This was back in the day when
the free flight and c/l stunt guys brought their scales

FWIW, I'm building an Easy Built Models IMP - 5 kits to go...

In the rare event that I buy balsa in a hobby shop I still bring a scale.

I do order balsa in "commercial quantities" and the first thing I do when I open the box is get out my scale and grade all the balsa.
