Thank you. A beautiful build and I wasn't too far from right when I though about using acrylic paint.

How?

Post by Szyp »

If I am stepping out of bounds, please excuse me, but how did you cover the fuselage in balsa? I would like to try that on my B17G. For example, what dimension balsa did you use, what did you attach it to, etc. As I said, if I am being too nosy, I apologize and won't ask any more questions about trade secrets, and I realize I am taking your time asking for the info, for which I am grateful. Did you add extra 16th square stringers? Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and I think that applies here. Again, if I am asking what I should not be asking, please forgive my rudeness. Thanks for reading this.

What color

Post by Szyp »

I would like to paint my B17G, whenever I get to that point, in the color of your most excellent build. Without giving away any trade secrets, would you be kind enough to tell me the brand, type, and color you used? Another question: did you use an airbrush to get that fantastic smooth finish? Thanks for reading this, and as always, I appreciate your help. :?:

This one too: http://balsamodels.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=744

Looks like David already bumped them to the top so they're easy to find.
