900 series p-51
The P-38 is arguably the best... Forget that, it is THE BEST fighter of world war two, and is epically AWESOME!

Nice work. Do you plan on flying it?
I really like this kit, so much that I have built three diffrent 900 series mustangs
Current favorite airplane: P-40 warhawk, F-35 is close second

unfortunately, I jammed my right thumb (my good one) really badly at soccer practice yesterday, so I wont get anywhere with the skyraider, my next kit, for a while.

oh, and by the way: the wing tips are foamboard with the paper peeled off. the foam is sandable, and works great for this purpose.

Hey, I like that idea.
Once the foam is sanded, you could stiffen it with a little white glue, then when that is dry polish sand it and then tissue it over.
