From what I have found on the www... the cockpits on these were pretty sparse...and this seat is probably too fancy .... instruments were a fuel gauge and a tachometer

The P-38 is arguably the best... Forget that, it is THE BEST fighter of world war two, and is epically AWESOME!

Ok ..so I had this completely covered with the kit tissue and was starting to add some paint when the model slipped from my hand and received some stringer damage.Image
After further review I decided to strip all of the kit tissue and apply silkspan and more stringersImage[/img]
Next was some extra detail for the engineImage
Rigging complete time to install the cowling[/img]Image
Decals on Image
Ready for the next one
It will be my favorite airplane of all time....DC-3/C47...[/img]

Wow!! Looks great Mike. Nice detail. I'd love to see more pics of your plane.
