It's not every day someone drops in here offering a B-29 for sale, it's not like we're continually inundated with kits for sale so I say let it continue. However, "buyer beware" is certainly applicable.
I'll offer $100 shipped for the kit provided the pictures prove it is in worthy condition and intact. My e-mail address is located on that little mail icon at the bottom of my posts.

I kinda lean towards the sanctity of our building forum. Without that we'll be subjected to any and all kinds of peddlers. There are many sights for classified ads,use them. Me, I am tired of someone trying to sell me something on just about every place that will grab my attention. This is one of the few forums, sites I visit that's not full of spam and pop-ups. Please, protect our modeler's sanctum,it's hallowed ground. Sorry, if this ruffles some feathers, but ,if someone on this forum wants to buy something they probably know where to start looking.

If you do a little searching you'll find that the consensus a while ago was to allow said auctions and we have yet to see this forum crash and burn as a result. If anything a few members, myself included, have benefited from it.

My 2 cents:
Steve just offered him 100 bucks shipped. That's 75 bucks and 25 shipping.
He'd get 182.50 (on avaerage) plus shipping on e-bay...
I have the plans, (as I always enjoy saying with regard to this kit...) so it's a non issue for me...

My two bits: If some regular user and poster wants to sell something that they bought and can't use or decide they don't need, fine. If some new guy comes on peddling stuff... NO! Not only for Buyer Security, but for the sake of the forum being used for assistance on model building. Just my think on it.
