B17G plastic paint

I have seen the photos of a skeleton B17g- that is, completed without silk span- bare stringers, and am wondering what color/type/brand of pain was or should be used on the plastic parts, engines, etc. Can anyone help me?

Make that what type of PAINT- I am already familiar with the pain and heartache of gluing and painting the wrong parts together by mistake....
