First Build

Post by Mark1210 »

I need help deciding my first build. What would you suggest for ease of construction and flying ability. I realize there are trade offs and not one perfect answer but I can't decide with my first. Thanks.

There are many options. Depends on who tells you. 8) You said model, so I am assuming you are willing to build either scale or sport? Probably the best flying one is the Javelin sport model. Never tried it, just heard talk. For scale the easiest builders/fliers are going to be the 600 series. They are all set up for beginners. Next up would be 900 series, especially if you want a warbird. And when you want bigger and better things, try the laser cut 400 series! Just my opinion, others will definently vary. Have fun!

Well not that I am a great builder by any means, I did start with the 900 Mustang (love warbirds), and since then have built a 500 Hellcat, and Im currently on a 400 FW-190.

So thats what I did...
