FW-190 (A-3 or so) Reference Books?

Post by jace314 »

Can someone recomend to me a good book with lots of scale details and color camo schemes for the FW-190. I have looked online, and have found a great side profile view of the color scheme I would like to do, but it seems every pic I find never shows anyother view other then the side view? I need some pics of the top of the wing, and bottom, etc... (I guess a color 3 view, with paint numbers)

Also why were at it, a good book on the ME or BF 109 E.

Thanks

Well I went with the one FW-190 you said, and the other one # 170. I was looking through a House of Balsa instruction book of a FW-190 that I have not built yet, and it says for reference use those books! So that should do it then!

I need to get on Virtual Aero, and put my bulds up. Just a little hazy on it since Im not a pro builder by any stretch!

Thanks Again!

Beautiful looking HOB. I have the FW 190, and the ME 109 that I will be building! I will be flying the ME on nitro, and the FW on electric. I really like the HOB planes, but alot of shaping and sanding.

Will you ever fly the FW 190? Also got any closeups of the struts and wheels on it? Just curious if you detailed them up or left them as per the instructions...

Thanks
