Darn stringers!!
Just need to let off some steam about the 1/16 stringers.....they snap between formers just by looking at them. Drat. I will enlarge the notches next time and go with 1/8 square stringers- unless someone has a suggestion that is based on their experiences....

Hi Szyp,
The local LHS seems to be a dying breed but try looking in craft stores, they often have balsa, bass or pine especially if they supply dollhouse builders. For my scratchbuilds I usually hit the local hardware store and buy up their balsa and pine supplies as the LHS here in Germany insists on charging me about double for what is the same brandname the hardware store carries. If the craftstore does not have stringer material, just buy sheets of the correct thickness and cut them yourself using a wood stripper. Lacking a wood stripper you can make one yourself with a razor blade and a bit of spare wood.
