Paint for P51 Mustang ?

Hi,

My son (11) built the P51 Mustang kit and we are now looking to paint it. What paints are recommended, and where can we can get them? Does a general hobby store such as AC Moore has it?

Any craft store should have inexspensive acrylics. Craft section at wal-mart is my easiest place to get them along with half decent brushes.

Michael's also carries a large assortment of colors.

Great, we'll stop by the store tonight. Just wanted to make sure it is compatible with the tissue paper that he put on the fusilage and wings.
