I am working on a 900 series Mustang and I'm wondering how to balance the Peck 6" prop that I want to put on it. One half of the prop always faces down after spinning it - do I shave it thinner, do I sand it a bit? How can I get it balanced?
Thanks!

put a pin or wire through the prop. dont have a spinner or anything on it.
now you put a couple of blocks on either side of the pin/wire. the prop should go parallel to the blocks. a balanced prop will appear to be level when you look at it from the side. if it isnt, you take off weight from either side by sanding a little. dont sand too much, as it isnt easy to put back weight.
hope this helps.
