kit 204 Fokker ??

Post by Szyp »

Gotta be sure and use the spell check on this model!!2 tech questions if anyone can help me. 1. The cowl, as seen from the front, has 3 cylindrical depressions- one for the prop, and 2 above. Should the back of those holes be removed, and 2. How far down on the landing gear should I insert the axle wire- the instructions are silent on the preferred position. Any other assembly tips would be welcome as well.
On another note, if someone is looking for miniature u nails, wire, hinges, when I was re-doing cuckoo clocks the suppliers of clock parts have a number of items that might be useful to the members here. The 2 places I recall are Ronell, and Frankenmuth Clock, google-able.

1. The two upper, small depressions are open holes on the full size airplane. I'm fairly certain they were for extra cooling air for the engine.
2. The axle wire is glued to the bottom of the 4th wing, the wing between
the wheels. It's glued directly to the underside of that wing.
