Question for you all something NOT covered anywhere

How to best trim the Canopies that come with the kits. And best method of attachment.

For trimming them out of the excess plastic what is the preferred method?and how to you get it to sit perfectly on the model?

And what do you all use to adhere the canopy to the model. I bought a tube of Testors canopy cement and it just doesnt do a good job not strong enough joint i guess and to thin.(It works fantastic for plastic models) And of course superglue/CA glue just fogs the heck out of the clear plastic.
