I love this quote by one of English Football's best ever managers, and it could apply here:

Interviewer: "So Mr. Clough, what happens if one of your players disagrees with you”

Brian Clough: “Well.....we sit down and we talk about it for about 20 minutes, then we decide I was right”

Actually David, The entire thread is intact. It's on page three of the forum and falling further back as we continue to beat a dead horse. You are right though, you did not say "you screwed up". You only said the decal was on backwards. Nothing else. Oh yeah, you did say "Don't shoot, I'm just the messenger".

I for one, was hoping this situation had passed.

For that horse to have his rest the echoes of laughter have to subside from my computer nook.

No, the decal was applied backwards not upside down! You are in error! Exterminate! Exterminate! Man, if he stuck it on his arse what difference would it make? Let's give this spat a rest already.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I believe the roundel is actually of the Army Air Forces, not the USAF. :?:

I was going to take a picture of the USAF/Army insignia on my arse, (next to an RAF roundel on the other cheek for balance) but I haven't, I don't want to be at the centre of a diplomatic incident!

Mr. Duckett, I hope you were not referencing my post under "desperate for help". I was not quoting anything anyone said here on the forum. i was saying that if all that someone mentions in a post is something I didn't do right, then it makes one feel that that is all someone notices, and not what was done right.
