Scale model propeller for viewing only

Post by rsampson »

I am looking for a scale propeller (a propeller for viewing not for flying) for the Guillow Beechcraft Buccaneer. The propeller is 3 3/4 " long. Can anybody recommend a source for this propeller?

First of all, I believe the kit you are talking about is actually called the Musketeer. Secondly, I just looked at my plan of that plane, and there is a 3 view, scale drawing of the prop on the plan. I would suggest carving it out of balsa. I myself have not carved many props, but some other modelers who use this forum have made some pretty impressive props.

Arlo, I am afraid I not that skilled at carving. It seems that there must be some vendor out there that sells scale model propellers for viewing only.
