Wow, Steve. How was your comment constructive? I guess you've never made a mistake. (Though I'll fully admit that the texting shortcuts are annoying in any application other than a text message.)

While it may be natural to make assumptions about people based on how or what they write, that doesn't make it right, and it certainly isn't on topic. As I have always been impressed with the inclusive and supportive nature of the discussions on this forum ("a place to talk planes"), hopefully we can return to that.

You know, this was the first time I noticed that it was spelled Enyoa on the title of this thread... Wow, I really pay attention.
Who put an "S" in lisp? :P

I must side with the people who appreciate the effort it takes to spell, and communicate with some basics in the structural context of writing. An English literature teacher told us that dignity and laziness to a student were like thrust and drag to an aircraft.and contributed to how far they would go.

I visit here often because its a pleasure to read the posts, try and help others, and myself without getting tangled in ads, pop ups and the like. My vote is NO advertising in the building section. If Guillows is so inclined, use some link. Also, as members indicate, there's ebay, others as well.

I was once on a nice forum for years. It deterioated.. the scifi type forum suffered from spammers and people trying to sell Ginzu knives, porn flicks and Viagra. Let's keep things nice, professional, friendly, ad free....we don't want to chance a crash. Lots of good folks were disappointed when that forum closed. We've nice folks here as well.

This one's insane...

But, it might be a way to get three copies of the coveted B-29 plans...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/140595891654?ss ... 1423.l2649
These are being sold for parts only. As you can see they have all been opened and parts are missing from each. These came from a huge estate where the man had built model planes all of his life. There were literally hundreds of completed models spanning the last 40-50 years. I have taken pictures of the contents of all three boxes with the hopes that there might be enough parts to build one plane. There are at least two sets of instructions and more than enough decals for one plane.

Please judge the condition of this by the picture(s), they are a vital part of the description. I try to take the best pictures I can showing as many angles as possible to give you the best possible idea as to what condition the item is in. Please ask questions if you are not sure of something and I will answer to the best of my ability. What you see in the pictures is what you are getting (pertaining the item listed), nothing more, nothing less. If it comes with a box and or paperwork, it will be picture.

You saw that? No Kidding!

I think it's because there hadn't been one up for sale in about 10 days. Problem is, now everybuddy who has one thinks it's worth 3 bills...

Exactly right. If I wanted to sell one I'd post it right now for $280 or so and the second highest bidder would snatch it in a heartbeat. I know because I sold one fore $250 that way then replaced it some months later for about half of that.

I gave up at $150, including shipping, on both auctions. Maybe after Christmas the price goes down?

another one, mayhaps in not so good shape...

From a local thrift store, one of the harder Guillows kits to find and highly sought after I understand. Box is a little rough but solid, kit looks to be 95% there. A few of the large balsa pieces have been cut but I'm sure could easily be replaced. Blueprints and all the patterns look to be there. I am not going to go thru every last piece to see if complete, sold as is. Not familiar with kit but I will try and answer any questions. Shipping is 12.00 to the lower 48
apparently not someone who knows anything about these kits...

12 bucks seems like a good deal on shipping.
