The biggest problem I have with nuts and bolts, is that at the 0-80 and 0-90 sizes that are scale on small models are so darned expensive! I spent a fortune using them on my Ansaldo SV5A. Welding that tiny, thin aluminum would have required a really miniature TIG welder.
