Covering completed, it'll take a half gallon of lacquer (thinned 50/50) to shrink it two coats.

white undercoat for canopy and the yellow markings... Makes the yellow paint, "POP!"

Nice work! Was wondering if you sand down the LE to shape or if its too much of a pain to bother to

Some the planes have a simple flat LE. The fabric does a pretty good job of "rounding" the profile. Lately on some planes I've been using 1/2" quarter round trim, (like for the base boards in your house) and it does a real nice job of again, "rounding" things out.

The Camel... (see new thread, in a minute or two)has a built up LE that will be sanded... (until I get bored with it, that is...)
