Very Nice...

I took a month off my ship to be with my daughter... She found a cat that we are taking care of... we are looking for owner, but believe he is a stray and if not claimed we will keep him. She named him Stormy, I call him Malestrom... a Maine Coon (mix?) that follows me around like a puppy and sits on my lap when I sit and just purrs like an engine! I think he is very happy here... Work in progress to get Trouble... I mean Treble to accept him.

Vet Bills so far... 300+, Enjoyment... priceless

Plus with this recent find at the Hobby Shop...

We had a stray Maine Coon at just weeks old find us at our cottage late one night, and had a beautiful Maine Coon for 17 years. You couldn't tell what she was at her young age, but grew up to be a show quality subject. It seemed odd that someone would dump what appeared to be a pure bread, show quality Maine Coon. We discovered years later that a person was breeding Maine Coons down the road from our cottage. Our belief now is that she somehow got loose from the breeder and found us.
Maine Coons and related Norwegian Forest cats are known to be more like dogs, in how they will follow their owners.

Thanks Bill,

Yes this guy is my buddy...(We put up posters, listed on Craig's List, etc) Vet bills are only for necessary care. He is a complete male, about 1 & 1/2 years old. He follows me everywhere, he gets up on me and he just starts purrrrrrring. Tonight my daughter and I had dinner at the coffee table (watching TV) and he just comes up and wants to be part of it (Treble was outside chasing mice). I was on the computer here and Coral (my daughter) comes in looking for Stormy... he's climbed up on the self by my knees and is sleeping. This cat is great! He is content staying in spare bedroom, while Treble is in the house. He meow's are so soft it like a small timid kitten.

If he ends up without being claimed we will keep him... He was starving and cold and wet on that "stormy" night when my daughter found him.

I do not know if he is pure or a mix but he is definately ONE COOL CAT! Merry Christmas, Mitch

does Santa have an EVIL list?

Or is a relative thing. Cause for a sysadmin I am pretty benign but for the average human I'm a right bastige.

I inherited a vintage Guillows DR1 kit the other day, with the old ply firewall. I already have one, but it has heavy covering that I no longer use, and no ailerons. Maybe a lighter aileron version, with the first one to strip for gear?

apparently I got nothing for christmas but a yelled at by my family a headache from stress and a 3 hour drive round trip.
apparently not getting to my mothers house by noon is not good enough. They decided to not get my anything yelled at me for not showing up so I was out almost 20 buck in gas just to get yelled at.
Next year... Do me a favor

Start up a large heavy guillows plane powered by a gas engine. Aim it right at my head. at full throttle.

The pain of getting 100 mph plane with a spinning prop and a hot engine against my face would be better than this.
Hands my keys over to the board master
Im going to go get very drunk.
