You did pretty good! Makes me wonder what the fellow did to deserve that sort of treatment. 
I went to one of those yard sales a few years back; only stayed for a few minutes and had to leave with nothing. The whole thing just left a sad feeling in my gut...felt like I was gaining over someone's misery. I guess when you've been there once, you don't want any reminders.

I think you did very well with your purchase.
That 1:196 scale Constitution usually sells on Ebay for a minimum of $18.00 NIB.
We all know what those 400 series Guillow kits sell for.
I can understand where Goldy is coming from (no, I haven't been divorced) but, if I were that dude, I would at least be somewhat relieved that they made it to a fellow modeler and not the trash.

Nice score.  I'd love to come across that, but unfortunately it's seems all of the married couples seem to be getting along well in my neighborhood.
