I built these two models about 8 years ago and they have been hanging in my living room since. Please ignore the dust lol.

Where do you live? With the Addams Family?
Pretty cool, actually, that you kept them.

In my house, I'm the only one tall enough to be able to get a good look at all the dust and I ignore it, anything below 5 foot is dustless here.

That reminded me of when Lilly Munster was upset about what they paid for a hotel room because there was "no dust".

I believe what you got here is a 500 Series kit 501 and a 900 Series kit 905. This thread really got me interested in 900 series kits!

yup yur right, one is a 900 series...either way, both great kits, I've since cleaned up the dust and they look much nicer.

Hey Shawn, I hope you didn't mind a little ribbing about the dust (ribbing , rib, airplane part, get it? I'm so funny). I think I got my old TV shows mixed up, anyway, one of them, the Mrs. had a vacuum cleaner that put out dust. Thats' cool that you get to display them. In my house I'm not allowed to display airplane stuff.

Hi Shawn the models look great. What did you seal/finish the tissue with?

I just sprayed them both with clear Monocoat but used Testors paints on the P-40 too but never planned to fly either one
