Who wants an early Christmas present?

Post by dale »

Hello Modelers, we have a great opportunity for you!

As you know we have been coming out with new model kits that contain LASER CUT parts, well we have also made it a project to go back thru ALL our existing model kits and re-draw the parts and convert them over to more precise laser cut parts. So far we have our 200, 300, 400, 700, 1202, 4000's and new 4500 series out in stores containing laser cut parts. We have 17 MORE kits drawn with laser cut parts that we would like you (the modelers) to help us "double check" before we go into production.

IF you meet the criteria and are the first person who contacts us about each of the following kits you will get a free laser cut kit sent to you!!
• The kits will NOT be given out to new modelers, this offer is ONLY for confident builders of Guillow’s models.
• We are asking this because you will be expected to reply back to us after building and give us constructive feedback on the laser cut parts and how the kit built.
• Please be able to build the kit and respond back to us within a timely manner, say the next 3-4 months.
• Only one kit per builder please.
• Modeler has to live in the U.S.A. for shipping.

The first person who contacts us and chooses one of the following kits will get a free laser cut kit.
Sorry all the kits are taken.

I would be honored to build the 1001 Thunderbolt. I just opened my die-cut version and was planning to build. I could compare both kits. I would put aside all other projects and build this model. I also just bought a "Squadron" book on the P-47 "In Action".

I would love the opportunity to build #804, the Douglas DC-3. Similar to Mitch's Thunderbolt, I was just about to start on a die cut version of the 804, and could offer comparisons btwn the two versions of the kit. Whether I'm selected or not, thanks for offering the opportunity!

I would LOVE to do another Focke Wolfe in the 500 series. (The Butcher Bird was my favorite 500 series to put together) And i did a pretty comprehensive overview of my build. I can so again.

I would very much enjoy building the 802 Cessna Skyhawk. I would post the build on this site with pictures and feedback.

I'd love to build the P-38 (#2001), I have it in die cut so that will allow for comparisons. This is the perfect time of the year for me, I don't get any hobbies done during the dry season.

Awww. man.......and here I live in Canada. I would take the B-25 for sure otherwise. When I went to build that one quite a few yeas ago, it gave me all kinds of headaches. Would be great to see how the laser cut version is now.
