Kit 507 Nakajima Rufe Laser Cut

I started the prototype laser cut Rufe, The laser cut wood is much lighter than the die cut stock that came in the kit and assembly has been really smooth.

Well...it's not exactly soon unless 2.5 years is considered a short amount of time, but I finished covering and assembling the Rufe, and it is ready for painting. The laser cut parts have made everything fit together very well.

Finished it! Painting went pretty well and I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Haven't yet figured out what my next project is...always seems like such a hard decision figuring out what to build next!

Very nice!! What kind of paint and application method did you use?

Thanks! I just spray painted it. Primed it first, then used a finish coat of Testor's spray enamel. I painted the cowl with Testor's enamel.
