Ive been trying the Edge prop on my Javelin the last week, and to be honest, Im not that impressed.

Im thinking that its do with the angle and blade shape, but I think it actually flew better on the 6" kit prop.

Having said which, give it a go yourself and make your own mind up.

The Mighty Javelin had an extreme impact with an engine hoist. I'm sorry it did'nt make it's 25 missions. I believe I have a higher attrition rate than the Army Air Corps in 1943,but anyway, now I can make a new one, and enter it along with the Cub95 in the G Challenge.

i got some 1/64 plywood from my hobby store. I am going to strengthen the fuselage aheab of the rubber attachment dowel, and use 1/32 ply on the B formers, and basswood on the cross pieces. I had to add 7g ballast to nose last time, and the way I sere it if I gotta add weight anyway I might as well put it to use.

i found that thick covering. theysell it in an envelope. It is not silk; it's nylon with a smooth side, and must be installed wet; as it does not shrink.

i'm almost done the new fuselage. I did some infilling to balance. I need no weights now,and I used 1/32, or 1/64 ply on any problem areas I had on the first model. the 1/64 ply is near 10bucks for a 8by10" piece.

Everybody talks about how good the Javelin flies. I've had one for a while, so decided to open it up and go. If I couldn't make it fly, I could always try swinging it. I'd get working on mine for a while then come look at the progressive pictures of yours. It never worked out, they were always different. After 5 days of this.......Brilliant flash. I saw the wings all the time, but suddenly I found out mine was the Lancer. That leaves me in a quandary; am I stoopid or jest ignernt? I'm enjoying myself, and nothing has changed. I just thought someone might get a chuckle, or even a guffaw out of this. They say "If all else fails, read the instructions". Now I can add "Read the box".
