Not yet. I noticed ADW had to cut out the stringer notches, as it appeared that the die-cutting only cut the bottom of the stringer notches and not the sides. Not really a bad thing though, as you can cut them exactly to plan, and cut the width so that the stringers lightly press into place. Looks like a really clean build and it helps when you don't have to hold stringers in sloppy die-cut slots, while you glue them at the same time so that they sit flush with the former edge. It's motivating me to want to build another, since this model was one of the first kits I built, and I made a mess of it. It's been so long that I didn't remember the notches not being fully die-cut on the kit.

Bill is correct... this one is a die cut kit. And the former cutting is critical on a build like this. Notice in one of my pictures the former notch is a fair amount smaller than the actual 3/32" sq. stringer in the plan. It is tedious to go through and cut them all a little small but it sure saves a lot of time and makes for a much cleaner build.

Bill, I think the extra thick stringers on these Guillows series are very nice looking... part of why I chose to build this one!

I'm aiming to have my private by early 2015, certainly by the time I graduate. It's pretty slow with all the other things I have on my plate. It's even hard to find time to work on the B-25, not to mention getting out to the airport.
