Space Shuttle

Post by Brenda »

So I found a new Guillow's Space Shuttle kit on ebay. It's all there and even has the film in the box. I'm going to build it and display it at Boeing/L3 in Torrance where some of the shuttle parts where made way back when.

Looks good. Glad to see more women than I thought in this hobby.

Hi Brenda,

Did you get a start on this kit yet? I recently picked one up, and started it last night.

My initial plan was to build it with the cargo doors closed and gear retracted. I'm also really tempted to build the boosters and fuel tank using the guides on the plan. If nothing else, building them would consume a lot of the leftover sheets/stringers I seem to have accumulated after previous builds! :D

Nope still sitting here. Been working on a few Black Hawk kits and laser cut Spitfire.
