Thought I would introduce myself before I commented on a post and people wondered who I am. Recently retired from Corp and relocated to New York state. Started my first Focke Wulfe when I was 15ish never completed due to my brother sitting on it. I went to styrene models and never looked back until 2 months ago. Walked into a local shop and saw Guillows kits on clearance. Picked up a Me-109 and Stuka,Spitfire in 500 series, Me-109 in 400 series. And that never completed Focke-Wulf is on order...tried to start the 109 in the 500 series but several balsa sheets were crushed and split. Call to Guillows and they sent replacements for free. Try that with Tamiya or Revell...lol. My kits will be for static display only since RC lost its hold a few years ago.

Welcome, I have several in the closet also. Don't know when I'll get to build them. Working 10- 14 hours a day and now have three grand children living with us full time. Managed to get a 600 series Piper Cub built and a 900 series Mustang about 3/4 done.

Hello and welcome... you are among friends here... looking forward to seeing your work and we are here to help. I like the 400 series and have built 3 Me109's in the past 2 years. They all fly with rubber and I am getting better flights with help from friends. Build the way you want, and enjoy. For static, I would build the 400 series 109 with the scale 'short wing'. I always build mine for maximum ws as the 109 is such a small plane.

I have been trying to find a Me-262 kit, but I am thinking none exist. Run across the plans awhile ago and got them downloaded. If anyone knows of a kit pls post a link for me.

I haven't seen any smaller ME262 kits, but there are a number of plans on the internet, compared with years ago. Built a number of them, some balsa and some foam. I used the PND plan as a starting point for a little 30mm jet that uses a foam wing, which actually turned out to be a good flyer.

Thxs Bill..Love the pics. I ran into trouble with the plans due to nobody around me can print up a full sheet. I will probably have to section off the drawings and print up several pages. It looks like the hardest part will be to get the Nacelles the correct shape. I was thinking of making them out of sheet styrene and having the rest of the plane planked.

Super cool looking ME262. I can see the EDF units in the background of the one pic. Could you please tell me what diameter these EDF's are ? Also if they are small where did you get them?
