FW-190 gun pods
Has anybody had a successful attempt making and installing underwing gunpods on a FW? I was thinking of making a balsa inlet at the attachment points, then after covering I can attach the pods by small dowels. Havent found alot of pics of balsa planes with this option. Any opinion on a deifferent mounting style would be appreciated.

I can't remember the name of the designer. However, I remember he did some amazing things with magnets. I seem to remember maybe a gun pod for a Stuka.

Thxs Wid, this build has been going slow. Found 2 mistakes on the plan where your printed parts are actually smaller than the plan calls for,and of course I made a mistake and.cut the whole thing from 1/32 basswood and it was suppose to be 1/16.
Going to be inflight finished becuz I am completely outta wheels and atm outta props. Thinking I might thow 3 soda can formed balsa props on it though.

It is a Veron "18 FW plan I downloaded. I even reprinted the fuse and wing templates twice..lol the pieces are just to small for the plan. It was a easy fix to graft in the missing lengths and they were located in a area that I could use some styrenen channel stock to cover the spliced in section.
