Thank you Sabu - It has always been my favorite look for the Hornet, short final to the carrier.
The model needs to be hanging from the ceiling in the correct AOA to look right with the gear all extended
and flexed out - or maybe I'll make a stand for it.
I am working on an F14 Tomcat currently and still trying to decide if I want
to drop the flaps and leading edges on it. I am already planning on making landing gear
for it..

Re: Call the Ball
hmm..CBF, I'm not sure whether you are asking if these are being built as EDF - or if they CAN be built / modified for EDF...
I build only static display aircraft anymore as the flyers tend to become rekitted in the field with extreme prejudice very shortly after completion and I do not
enjoy watching all that time and money either fly away forever or dismantle itself...
The bulkheads or fuselage formers in these kits are solid sheet balsa and would have to be machined to allow the fitting of fan units, battery and speed control units etc..
It could be done with a lot of extra effort and there are forums where they talk about converting these Today's Hobbies models, but the consensus seems to be that they are
A) too small and B) impractical for that application.
