Are there any videos and / or discussions for those who have never built a balsa wood plane?

There are several useful videos on youtube.com. Some are in fast-motion but you can slow them in settings. You can spend a fortune on tools but the essentials are, for the most part, available on Amazon or from your local Walmart.

I bought a Walmart toenail clipper which is a curved bill side cutter. It has a lifetime replacement policy. Now that I've been using it for several days I can highly recommend it. It's primary use has been to precision cut stringers.
