spray painting
I’ve been using Krylon spray paint for covering relatively large areas. It's ok, but not ideal. It’s coarse, and penetrates Parafilm. Is there a spray painter which would work with acrylic? I have an airbrush. It does a good job, but is very tedious.

If you want to use rattle can spray paint try Design Master Floral Spray. It is the lightest rattle can spray that I have found. The color choices are a bit limited and most of them are flat. The aluminum (silver) Design Master is a good substitute for aluminized tissue.
If you want to airbrush with acrylics try opaque artist's airbrush colors. They are already thinned for spraying and the color range is amazing. However, they are a bit pricey. If you want WW2 camouflage colors try the Acryl line from Testor's. They have a good selection of authentic colors. They will have to be thinned for spraying which takes a bit of experimentation.
