Help Please - I need a copy of the step by step primer

Please help,

I have just opened the box for my 16.5" wingspan JU 87-B Stuka and found that the manual 'How to build & fly a balsa model airplane - a step by step primer for beginners' is misprinted. Pages 2 & 3 are blank, pages 4 & 5 OK, 6 & 7 blank etc all the way through the booklet. It was a present so I can't go back to the shop as I don't know where it was purchased.

As this is only my 3rd model and 1st Guillow's, I don't have the confidence to start without this book. Does anyone know where there is an online copy or has anyone got a scanned in copy they can share.

ps, I found this site and registered purely for the above request but then started looking and have spent over an hour so far. What wonderful models you have made. I've got a target to aim at with my Stuka compared to the one shown in the pictures, I doubt that I will get anywhere near that standard but its something to aspire to. I found so great tips and will visit regularly now that I've found you.

Tony........Go the the Guillows "Contact Us" and email them your problem. I am confident they will assist you on a timely basis. I have always had good luck with contacting them..............Luck, JGJ

I tried that last weekend & haven't had an answer. I don't know if its a holiday in the States or something which might explain why they haven't had chance to acknowlege my email

Thanks for that but David Duckett has offered to send me a scanned copy.

What a great list, problem solved in a few hours

many thanks to you all. I'll post some pictures as the airplane is being built so you can comment and point out my mistakes.

Tony.........Glad you got help. Dave Duckett (among others) is one of our premiere modelers. He is also a deep fountain of model knowledge and tips.
Cruise this site for his essay on using acrylic paint for display models. Also, you need to join www.virtualareodrome.com another great site with plenty of pictures........................JGJ

Welcome to the forum Tony! I don't know if the scanned copy that David is sending you is a paper version or if it's being sent by e-mail, but I'm in the UK too so if you'd like an original printed booklet then message me with your details and I'd be happy to pop one in the post

David is emailling the booklet (he has already sent the first page as a test), so I'll have the booklet to start the model this weekend which is lucky having just seen the weather forecast
