ive tried several ways to weather but I found this a good one.
spray/paint silver on all the areas you want to scruff up and leave for a few days to really dry/set,then paint your colour on and get a bluntish screwdriver and randomly scrap off the paint in all directions.

I started the bonsai trees about 4 yrs ago ,after having 3 heart attacks, for somthing to do.I make them from garden center stock and try not to spend more than £5/$10 each,Ive now got about 200.Last summer I had to water them every day(1 hour),but this year Ive only watered them(mid may-now) about 10 times because of this non stop rain/wind.Thats why the stuka has not been flown yet.Every time I get the chance to fly it ,its raining. My time will come soon.
What's the AUW of the Stuka? What gear is installed in it?
It would be nice to see it on www.virtualaerodrome.com , you shold upload some pictures of it there.
-James.
the AUW of the stuka(without engine) is 9.6OZ ,including the radio gear-reciever,batteries,two servos and I ommitted the switch . The engine a COX TEXECO weighs 2.3OZ ,this is in an OD flying test bed to run/learn the starting/tuning of the COX. Ive sent for a micro receiver(6 channel) from Hong Kong that is only 6 grams which should save about half oz.
As for virtualaerodrome Ive tried for a week to put in my pics but cant.
Ive tried all the things it says what to do but nothing, zip ,zilch!HELP!
Just a refresher: in the "settings" tab, click on "aircraft" in the blue bar, and add whichever name fits your build best. then go to "upload pics" and lick 'browse' to find a picture. you might need to re-size them.
