guillow's series in scale
i used to work with plastic models, and out of curiosity i was wondering what were the scale equivalent for the guillow's kit. For instance i read on another site that the 500 series was about 1/32 and the 400 series was 1/16. are these scale accurate and does some one else know what they are for the other series.

Unfortunately, the scale of the 500 series kits varies by model. The determining factor is the largest size model that can be built out of the standard balsa sheets that fit in the box. Most of them have a 16-1/2 inch wing span. You will have to divide that by the actual wing span of the aircraft modeled to find the scale.
