It'll surprise you...
By now, you've probably already picked it up off of the bench, and found out just how sturdy your construction is. You used the real side keel as well, (I don't) I just make the side keel another standard stringer. Your's will be nearly strong enough to stand on.
Listen, I forgot to say, but be sure to add some wood blocks behind and in front of B6 (behind) and B2 (in front) to provide more "meat" to screw to when you attach your wing. Mayhaps some more "meat" in the wing on both sides of the center F1 front and rear as well...

1.. FLYBOYZ (John): Thank you! As Supercruise said over in 500 series thread, welcome home to Guillow's! After you get yourself adequately covered in glue again, mayhaps you'll feel the need to join us building these blowed up vergins of the kits. Right now, with the price of balsa so high, they're cheaper! 
2.. Darrell: I forgot to mention, that you're going to want to engineer some hard points into your fuse. I've learned to put em on top and on bottom. Makes it really alot easier to hang the danged things. Not to mention, it's nice to have the option of hanging the plane inverted... (Think Local Hobby Shop...)
3.. To all who have an opinion: I've been looking at photos of spitfires. All seem to have fairly boring colors as far as the propeller spinner is concerned. Did/Do the Brits just have no imagination, or what? I'm thinking bright glossy red, but am having second thoughts. So based on a desert cammo overall scheme, what color would you guys paint the thing...??
4.. Again to all who are interested: I'll be done with this spit shortly, easily by the end of the week, and am excited to start the Stuka. Plan is cut, printed, and ready for tape. I can zip the files up and make em available to anybuddy who wants to build a big Stuka with me. So, question is: who needs a 102.75 inch wingspan German Stuka in their garage, besides me?

Thank you BillParker!Great cammo nothing boreing about that beauty!But then again Iam a cammo nut and I love brit planes.The spit had a elipitical wing!I builded a RC spitfire where ever you put the plane it stayed there.But somebody had took it off charge and I didn,t check it before flight!Its just a membery now but it was cammo too.
