I had to do this one in red Coverlite. No electronics installed yet.

The red translucent Coverlite was used with a dusting of Testors flat red enamel spray paint to get rid of the shine. Bottom of wings is blue.

Sorry I can't read. It came through as Corvette Red to me. Have to get my eyes checked.

It looks like a really amazing tissue cover, but the finish is so smooth.

Does Coverlite shrink or stretch?

Are there more pictures of models done in Coverlite around?

It shrinks with heat, very little heat so you need to be careful. Probably would work better with a hair dryer than my heat gun. Will try that on my next one. My Morse Scout that is posted here in another thread is coverlite also. The only problem with coverlite is that even after a light dusting of enamel spray paint, it has to be re-heat shrunk.

Correction on the covering. It is Microlite (by Coverite). Very light. The Morse Scout is done with Black Baron by Coverite. A bit heavier and more tension when shrunk.

I got it at the local hobby shop. Google "coverlite" see if a dealer is near you.
