Does anybody want this?

I figured this would be the best place for this. I have the vacuumed formed parts for Kit #1005, Grumman F6F-3 Hellcat and if no one wants them I'm throwing them out. They're yours for the cost of shipping them, they should ship fine in the original box via Priority Mail. There are also a couple of wheels, the full plans (cut up and retaped), and the "fake plywood" vinyl sheet.

Bill...yep! I got 'em, thank you so much. I will have to order the plans, wheels and canopy from Guillows first.
I have plenty of nice balsa stock, wire and covering materials for many Guillows sized models and I think mine will be r/c or free flight.
Ahhhh....I have so many projects in various stages and so little time!

I think that the SPAD is 28" right? either 84 or 112 inches in wingspan...

It's a really kewl airframe, kind of a really early Corvette... Anyway, make sure you scan the whole thing, and you'll get it back blown within an hour or so...

did a quick search for this kit, and it may be an 18" span... Need to blow that up to.... 90"... That's 5 times the size... I'll decide when I see it...

But wait... there's "vintage" versions (I guess they don't make em any more) that were smaller, right? Doesn't really matter, once blown up they work very well anyway. A good example is the 1000 series planes blow up and you wind up with about 20 pounds of 1/4" plywood parts. Blow up a 500 series plane, apples to apples, Hellcat to Hellcat, and you get about 10 pounds of parts, and it looks/functions the same... Good structural integrity is what I'm trying to say.

Anyway, to make sure that you understand my method of "blowing up the plans," see:

Specifically beginning with:

"First, you have to get your plans blown.

Cut your plan into 8.5 by 11 inch sections, and scan each section front and back at 216 dpi. (any larger is ridiculous) Then, using The Castle's Split Image Software cut each scan 3 by 3 or into 9 sections. Then the images will need to be printed..."

You send me the original scans, and I'll do the splitting, then you'll print the files I send you back...
