Any tips on silk span covering around plastic detail parts? Any help appreciated

When using white glue just rough up the plastic with some sand paper, not shiny rough but see some noticeable scratches, something the glue can adhere too and cover over the plastic about a 1/4 " with your fabric and this seems to work quite well for my use. I too have the 1000 series corsair and really enjoyed the build. I used interior latex for paint and it just about pulls the hook out of the ceiling but it looks pretty good. This was my first attempt after a 50yr. hiatus. I now have an airbrush and use acrylics,much easier application, very nice finish and about as light as it gets. Good luck

The corsair kit was the first kit I built, back when I was 14. It is just as much fun at 30 as it was back then.
