First off,
Hello All this is my first post so go easy on me...
Im just about finnishing building a 403 Spitfire its my first ever balsa build... I don't intend flying it I want to hang it as a display model.
Is it easy to carve a 3 blade prop?
has anyone got any info or plans on how to carve them?
Or would it be better just to buy them... If buying them is the better option then does anyone know were I can get some from in the UK.
Im also loooking for a scale pilot too...
Thanx in advance
ianc.

If you go to Virtual Aerodrome at http://www.virtualaerodrome.com/?p_menu=1 and go to the How To at upper left you will find a great tutorial.

Hi. I was trying to get to this tutorial, but I don't see a "how to" section on Virtual Aerodrome. Do you maybe have a direct link to the tutorial?Ken Miller wrote:If you go to Virtual Aerodrome at http://www.virtualaerodrome.com/?p_menu=1 and go to the How To at upper left you will find a great tutorial.

In the past I have made 3-bladers from 2 single bladed plastic props. Cut off 2 blades at the hub from one and then one blade at the hub from the other. Locate 2 blades on the single blade and glue with CA. Cut blade profiles from plan and glue to blades. From there let your Dremel do the work. Luck, JGJ
