Tissuing - Grain Question

The Guillows "How To Book" advises that the tissue grain on the Fuselage should run from nose to tail. What is the problem if the grain runs around from top to bottom instead??? Appreciate your input.

when you wet the tissue to let it shrink, it will not plull as straight and smooth if the grain is wrong, it DOES make a difference

Aha!! Thank you. Covering a fuselage and realized about a 1/3rd of the way through I was applying in the wrong direction.
