Hello, everyone.
I am building the Guillows Piper Super Cub 95. My first in 50 years. Great fun!

I've got some photos to post but haven't figured out how to, yet.
My biggest current challenge is how to cut the plastic windscreen to the exact size and how to bend and attach it so it looks good. The experiments I've done so far are crude and messy. I cut a piece of acetate and tried fitting it onto the fuselage but it didn't work: so glad I didn't put any adhesive on.

I'll post some progress photos when I figure out how.

Jack, Buy some white canopy glue from the hobby store or Towerhobbies. Make a photo copy of the canopy from the plans template. Tape the clear acetate over the template and cut out with an xacto knife. Wearing gloves helps to keep the finger prints off the canopy. Then dry fit the canopy and trim to fit if necessary. Then hold it in place, tape one side down with low tack masking tape. Then using the canopy glue, apply carefully to the non taped side using a toothpick and place glue around cabin area. Don't use too much glue and you don't have to glue every inch of the canopy. Most of the time I never glue the front curved portion of the canopy. Attach the non taped side to the glued structures and hold in place with masking tape. When dry take off the masking tape of the non glued side and glue that side. That is all there is to it. This is a fun build and great flyer.
