O.K it's a Dumas kit, I hope I'm not committing a faux pas by posting. Only my second plane. I will say that my Guillow had far better instructions. If this offends any purists, I apologise. Just wanted to show and talk planes.

how do you get paper parts to look like real metal when you paint them?

Put Bare Metal Foil on the paper.

I used Tamiya paint "gun metal" acrylic color.

Thanks Mooney. I flew it once, but it crashed. About 4 seconds of flight from the ground. Once the rigging was on, I like it as a dust collector. Time to build another!
