Kit prices

Post by cliffm »

After looking at prices of kits I decided better get them while they are what they are. The large scale B-24 and P-38 complete my collection of the series and from the last time I looked the price went up almost $14 a piece. That's about a year ago. The best price I could find was A.C.Supply,with the price being over a c-note shipping was free. I don't get to spend that much on hobbies very often (fixed income) but some old H.D. part turned into gold. The wood in these kits looks pretty good, maybe 1 fluffy sheet but overall quite nice. The B-17 had some funky clear plastic but it was liveable. The P-38 is a super quality kit with some of the best looking parts and plans I've yet to see in any kit. this should keep my arthritis busy till about February. Later

That B-24 kits looks really nice, and checking ebay it is going for a pretty high price tag.

I joined the email list at A2Z (Peck Polymers) and they seem to have Guillows sales twice a year or so and they notify you via email and give you a coupon code to use. I think the last sale was like 40% off. I picked up a couple of kits from the last sale a few months ago.
